The African Potato Association (APA) is pleased to invite researchers, policymakers, industry stakeholders, and development practitioners to the 13th Triennial APA Conference to be held at the Speke Resort Hotel in Munyonyo, Kampala-Uganda from May 25 to 30, 2025. This landmark event will bring together leading experts and partners to share insights, innovations, and strategies to advance potato and sweetpotato value chains in Africa.

The 2025 APA Conference will focus on the role of innovation, research, and partnerships in building resilient, sustainable, and inclusive value chains for potato and sweetpotato. The conference will serve as a platform to showcase cutting-edge scientific advancements, highlight transformative technologies, and foster collaborative networks across Africa and beyond.

What would you like to participate into?
Abstracts: If you are a researcher, policymaker, industry stakeholder, or development practitioner you can submit an abstract for presentation at the conference. Abstracts must be in English and should not exceed 300 words. Include the title, author(s), and affiliation(s). Clearly indicate the sub-theme under which the work falls. Use clear and concise language, highlighting the problem, methodology, key findings, and significance of the work.
