![]() | An IMMANA project study conducted in Rwamwanja and Kyaka II Refugee Settlements in Western Uganda within 2024-2025 as a partnership between NRI, CIP, University of Zimbabwe and MOOD TECHNOLOGIES with the aim to develop an estimation tool for nutritional postharvest losses in humanitarian food value chains. The communities of focus included Refugee Settlements, Refugee Host Communities, Food Aid Suppliers and different actors in the value chain including Traders, Transporters, Processors and Retailers. The major crops of focus were Maize, Beans and Sweetpotato considering normal production seasons and periods of major disruptions. |
